We’re seeing a resurgence of the cake topper trend. And if used in the right way, it can be a cute vintage look that makes a statement about the couple. Take today’s Etsy pick for instance. The love birds are handmade by local shop CherryRedToppers and hand-painted in your choice of colors. The birds are sculpted from polymore and attached with a dowel rod that can be placed on the edge or top of a cake. (I’m sort of loving the way she placed the birds gazing at each other from the tiers of the cake!) The crowns are also hand-painted in a choice of silver or gold. Get the love birds here while they’re on sale for $60 (down from $80!).
