Lauren and John began their relationship as friends while attending Oklahoma State University. They began dating and spent the next five years falling in love before deciding to spend their lives together on Memorial Day weekend 2012. John took Lauren to dinner at Ocean Prime then to the Rosewood Mansion where her family was waiting to surprise her and begin a weekend of celebrating.
Fete Des Fleurs blended Lauren’s favorite shades of peach, grey, and coral for a warm and whimsical tone. The reception was lit with candles in honor of her nephew, Conner, and the First Candle organization. The couple struggled to decide if they should see each other before the ceremony and they’re so happy they did because it turned out to be one of their favorite moments of the evening. It gave them a chance to be together and ease their jittery nerves before the busy night began.
