I’m not engaged… yet (hint hint, you know who you are), but man did I feel like a bride-to-be at Hotel ZaZa’s Bridal Soirée on Sunday afternoon. The place was abuzz with gorgeous women (with some gorgeous rings, I might add) and Dallas’ finest wedding vendors.
With ZaZa’s attentive wait staff doling out modern hors-d’oeuvres (the mini spring rolls were my favorite) and champagne sprinkled with raspberries, everyone was having a fabulous time. Throughout ZaZa’s ballroom were models in gowns from the Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus (I hope I look that good in a wedding dress) and table setups where vendors showcased their splendor. A few of my favorites are pictured above. Here’s the scoop:
Models donned Ines di Santo (pictured left) and Monique Lhuillier (pictured right) wedding gowns that caught my eye. I couldn’t help but snap a picture to save for future reference.
The staff at Tart bakery were extremely friendly and kindly fed me cake while I took pictures. And by the way, best cake I’ve ever had. Like, I’m embarrassed at how quickly I scarfed it down. Their table was full of tasty treats with a gorgeous floral painted 2-tier cake, cake pops, meringue cookies, and cupcakes. It was all almost too pretty to eat.
Simply Mox had a table showcasing their custom invitations. They had everything from sweet and simple paper invitations to gorgeous satin books wrapped in ribbon with rhinestone buckles. My personal favorite was the save-the-dates with the mini champagne bottle. What a way to announce your engagement!
And then the flowers caught my eye. Fete Des Fleurs had a table set up that was so breathtaking, I actually just stood and stared for about five minutes. The detail was so incredible with the floral textured tablecloth and extravagant floral centerpiece, I had no idea so much could go into a table setting.
Even though I’m not a bride-to-be, I had a great time and acquired some serious knowledge about what I like and who has some of the finer services in the Dallas area.
Oh, and to the girl who won the couples spa treatment at the ZaSpa raffle, if your fiancé cant make it, I’m available!
