When Annie DelValle graduated from college, she moved in with a mutual friend, Marissa. Annie soon met Marissa’s other roommate Richard Oliva, and the two clicked.
The two were engaged after taking in a beautiful ocean view on a cliff-side walk in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Richard surprised Annie by flying out her family to celebrate afterwards.
The couple returned to Palos Verdes once again and tied the knot with the ocean as their backdrop. They chose a simplistic color palette of blue-gray slate, gray, white and a touch of pale peach to keep the focus on the ocean view.
“We had a destination wedding and 120 out of a 185 wedding invite count made the trek all the way from Texas, Wisconsin, and beyond to celebrate with us,” Annie said. “I realized that never again will we have all of my truest and dearest loved ones in one room together.”
